Golden Smiles Dental Studio is an out-of-network practice and is not contracted with insurance providers. We are happy to submit claims to your insurance company as a courtesy; however, coverage and reimbursement are determined by your individual plan and cannot be guaranteed. Patients are responsible for any portion not covered by insurance.

Yes! We love seeing kids and families. Our goal is to make dental visits feel comfortable, positive, and easy from an early age.

Absolutely. We offer routine exams, preventive care, and our signature Luxe Cleanings for patients who want comprehensive dental care in a relaxed, elevated environment.

Yes. In addition to cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Sydney provides general dental care, including treatment for cavities and other common dental concerns. If your treatment requires specialty care, we will help coordinate a referral to a trusted specialist.

Absolutely. We understand that the dentist can feel overwhelming for some patients. Our appointments are intentionally unhurried, and we take the time to explain each step, answer questions, and make sure you feel comfortable throughout your visit. Nothing is done without your understanding and comfort – you are always part of the process.

Most smile makeovers are completed over approximately 6 – 8 weeks, although timing can vary depending on your individual treatment plan, healing, and lab schedule. We’ll walk you through your personalized timeline before treatment begins.

Not at all! Your temporaries are designed to look natural and allow you to experience your new smile before your final porcelain is completed. Think of them as your smile trial – they give us the opportunity to evaluate the shape, length, and overall look together and make adjustments before your final veneers are made.

No. Our philosophy is to preserve as much healthy natural tooth structure as possible. Depending on your teeth, bite, existing dental work, and goals, you may qualify for no-prep or minimal-prep veneers. True no-prep veneers are highly case selective, so Dr. Sydney will recommend the most conservative approach that will still create a beautiful, natural result.

The best way to know is through a smile consultation. We’ll evaluate your teeth, bite, oral health, existing dental work, and cosmetic goals to determine which treatment option is most appropriate for you.

Everyone responds differently. We use professional whitening products and techniques designed with patient comfort in mind, but temporary sensitivity can still occur. If you experience sensitivity, it typically improves within 24 – 48 hours.

Yes. We offer professional in-office whitening for patients wanting faster results, as well as professional at-home options for those who prefer to whiten gradually and on their own schedule.

Our Luxe Cleanings combine thorough preventive dental care with an elevated patient experience. We use modern cleaning technology, including piezo instrumentation and gentle air polishing, to provide a comfortable, detailed clean while being mindful of natural teeth and cosmetic restorations. We also take the time to evaluate your overall oral health rather than simply cleaning your teeth and sending you on your way.

Absolutely. We welcome patients traveling from across South Dakota and out of state. Our team can help make the process as seamless as possible by coordinating appointments and providing travel and accommodation recommendations when needed.

Yes. We offer financing options for patients who prefer to divide treatment into manageable monthly payments. Our team can review available options with you during your consultation.

We’ll discuss what you love-and what you’d like to change-about your smile, evaluate your teeth and bite, review treatment possibilities, and talk through what a personalized smile transformation could look like for you. There is never pressure to move forward with treatment.

There isn’t one number that is right for everyone. The ideal number depends on how many teeth show when you smile, your facial proportions, bite, tooth position, and goals. Dr. Sydney will recommend the number that creates the most natural and balanced result rather than treating every smile the same way.
